Have you ever wondered why you see yourself mirror-inverted, but not upside down in the mirror? Have you ever wanted to know how the Internet actually works?
Join us and discover the fascinating world of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) with CyberMentor!
When is CyberMentor the right choice for you?
What can you expect?
After registering, you will be assigned a personal female mentor who we will select based on your STEM interests. If you are interested in biology and technology, you might be mentored by an environmental engineer. If you find physics exciting, we may assign you a mentor who works in aerospace.
Your mentor gives you insights into her exciting everyday STEM life and is available online to answer your STEM-related questions. Together, you can carry out STEM projects on our online platform. We have many project ideas for you! For example, you can grow crystals, investigate why dead batteries bounce higher, or program an app - depending on your interests.
On our CyberMentor platform, you can exchange ideas with your mentor and all other participants via e-mail, chat, or forum, discuss exciting STEM topics and learn about the diversity of STEM. From the mentors, you learn about which STEM professions and study opportunities are available and you can find out about interesting STEM events taking place in your area.
How can you participate?
You have the opportunity to join the CyberMentor program once a year. Each round starts in mid-October.
The next CyberMentor round will begin on
October 21, 2024.
Registration deadline for the round is
September 15, 2024.
If we receive the registration form later, we will mark you for the next round.
